Gas Tax Giveaway Disclaimers
1. Who can enter? This Gas Tax Giveaway is open to all West Virginia residents visiting the website, www.keepwvmoving.org, between the dates of July 7, 2008 and August 27, 2008.
2. Methods of Entry: To enter the giveaway, go to www.keepwvmoving.org/gastax/default.aspx to enter. Entrants must complete the gas tax calculator form to enter the contest. Entrants may only enter once.
3. Drawing: Random drawings will be held on July 14, 2008, July 21, 2008, July 28, 2008, August 4, 2008, August 11, 2008, August 18, 2008, August 25, 2008 and September 1, 2008. Eligible winners will be notified by telephone and email and will have 48 hours to respond to the telephone notification or they forfeit their winnings and a new randomly drawn winner is chosen.
4. Prize: The prize for each drawing is one (1) gift card to Exxon Mobil valued at $250. Winners will be responsible for any and all income or other taxes on the Prize. Void where prohibited by law.
5. You must be 18 years or older and a West Virginia resident to enter. Acknowledgment of your entry is not guaranteed. West Virginians for Better Transportation is not responsible for technical issues which may prevent an entrant’s ability to participate in this Gas Tax Giveaway or by any human error which may occur in the processing of entries in this Gas Tax Giveaway or for typographical or other errors in the handling of the Gas Tax Giveaway materials, administration of the Gas Tax Giveaway or the announcement of the prizes. West Virginians for Better Transportation reserves the right to cancel or modify the Gas Tax Giveaway if there is any suspected or actual evidence of fraud which may destroy the integrity of the Gas Tax Giveaway as determined by West Virginians for Better Transportation, in its sole discretion or for any other reason. Any fraudulent entry or entry that contains misinformation is null and void. All decisions of West Virginians for Better Transportation related to the Gas Tax Giveaway are final.
6. Odds of being a winner depend on total number of eligible entries received. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local laws apply.
7. All contestants release and forever discharge West Virginians for Better Transportation and their respective employees, owners, board members, partners, affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively “Affiliates”) from and against any and all liability and/or claims with the respect to or in any way arising from this Gas Tax Giveaway, participation in the Gas Tax Giveaway and acceptance or use of the prizes, including, without limitation, any liability for personal injury or property damage or loss. Contestants agree to defend, indemnify and hold the Affiliates harmless from any or against any and all liability and/or claims with respect to or arising from contestant’s acts or omissions in connection with participation in the Gas Tax Giveaway and use of any prizes.
