CHARLESTON, W.VA. -- The West Virginia Division of Highways will be providing a preview of its six-year plan of action during a seminar Wednesday morning in Charleston. The seminar, entitled "WVDOH Program: A Preview of the Next Six Years," will be held as part of the 2010 West Virginia Construction & Design Exposition (http://www.wvexpo.com/) at the Charleston Civic Center. This seminar, which will begin at 8:30 a.m. in Parlor A, will be sponsored by the Contractors Association of West Virginia and West Virginians for Better Transportation.
The presenter for the seminar will be Anthony Carovillano, who is Highway Engineer in WVDOH’s Program Planning and Administration Division.
The WVDOH recently updated its Six-Year Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (2010-2015 STIP), which includes all planned federally funded surface transportation projects in the state. Carovillano’s presentation will include a preview of planned projects and programs for the next six years.

West Virginians for Better Transportation is a coalition that aims to educate West Virginians about the importance of maintaining a safe and modern transportation infrastructure.
